Nathan is Australia’s #1 young property investor. As seen regularly on TV, Nathan was able to quit the paid workforce using property investment alone. At the age of 25, his buy and hold portfolio is over 30 properties, and holds over $5,000,000 of real estate.

With a net worth over $1million at just 21, Nathan Birch was fortunate enough to be able to retire from the workforce three years later at the age of 24 to pursue his property investment interests full time.

Nathan’s sizeable property portfolio ranges from units, villas and townhouses to duplexes and large houses, which cleverly compounds on itself. He is committed not only to his own investment goals, but to also helping others realise and achieve their full potential.

When scouting for properties, Nathan focuses on ‘bread and butter’ properties in areas with strong rental demand and an undersupply of housing. His methods are deceptively simple: he only seeks out properties of extreme value, buying well under market price to ensure his risks are minimised and he enjoys instant equity gains. All of Nathan’s properties are cash-flow positive or neutral from day one, to complement lifestyle choices rather than his properties being a burden on cash flow.

Nathan concentrates on ‘ugly duckling’ properties that can be transformed into swans. These properties form the foundation of a solid and profitable portfolio that grows by the week.

The 25-year-old jumped into the property investment early – he was just 13 when he made the conscious decision to leave his working class roots behind and dedicate himself to a strategy of wealth creation through property investment. Nathan purchased his first property at age 18.

A stint as a Real Estate Agent taught him much about the property industry and enhanced his negotiating skills, which is a crucial part of any investor’s skill set.

As a result of his success, Nathan has gone from working 20-hour days, seven days a week, holding down two jobs to spending just a few hours a week maintaining and expanding his property holdings while helping others achieve their own investing goals via coaching, mentoring, and education resources.
