[THE VAULT] BARGAIN INVESTMENT PROPERTY IN A PREMIUM SUBURB

This week on The Vault we look at a two-bedroom bargain investment property that has delivered nice capital growth while maintaining a consistent cash flow.

PURCHASED IN A PREMIUM SUBURB FOR $159,000

When this apartment was purchased in 2013, when comparable sales were between $180,000 to $190,000. Binvested Property Investment Agents picked up this two-bedroom flat, located on Queensland’s Gold Coast, for just $159,000.

At the time of purchase, rent was coming in at $280 per week.

IT MADE AROUND $100,000 IN CAPITAL OVER TWO YEARS

At the time of filming, this flat was worth around $250,000, with rent coming in at $300 per week.

While growth has already been substantial, it is far from over yet. The Queensland market has only just begun a market boom, with prices expected to rise even more.

It will be interesting to see the results of this property once the Queensland boom cycle is in full swing.
